Every December in North Fulton County, where Arseal Technologies, LLC corporate offices are, there exists a spirit of giving. Every year, early on a December Saturday morning, for the past few years employees of Arseal rendezvous in downtown to serve as helpers for the annual North Fulton Community Charities mission for foster children. This event is the culmination of ginormous effort by multiple churches, businesses and individuals who donate many gifts for these foster children. We have the honor to serve food, wrap gifts, decorate the rooms, and help lift the spirits of others. Mr. Lakip, a foster child himself, has spoken at these events to encourage the children to have vision and persistence in pursuing lofty goals.
North Fulton Community Charities mission is to prevent homelessness in North Fulton by supporting families in their homes during short-term emergencies. By pooling the resources of local religious, business and civic groups and individuals, NFCC assists families with rent, utilities, transportation, food, clothing, medicine and other basic needs. NFCC also coordinates special assistance to families during the holidays and matches volunteers with projects.
During 2006 North Fulton Community Charities provided assistance to 4,150 local families. Each family's need was different - a lost job, an injury or illness that prevented work, a failed marriage, domestic violence, a new baby and no insurance, car trouble, toothaches, day care problems. Some families required assistance off and on throughout the year, others only once or twice.
